Student life at Harvard Hillel has far exceeded the original architectural brief of “three classroom/worship spaces and a dining hall.” Thanks to the generosity of David and Georgia Keidan and their family, major parts of the ground floor of Rosovsky Hall have now been updated to create a more open, welcoming, and inclusive experience. Thanks are due also to Drs. James and Melinda Rabb and their family (Jim Rabb and David Keidan were Harvard classmates along with past Harvard Hillel Board of Directors Chair Ben Friedman) for supporting a transformation of the Rabb Family Student Center as part of the new ground floor Commons.
- During the transformation…
- The ‘Living Room’ takes shape
- Students and alumni gather in the new Rabb Family Student Center in the Keidan Family Commons for Jewish Life.
- The Keidan Family Commons for Jewish Life offers welcoming spaces in which students hang out between activities and after meals.
- A new window seat in the ‘Living Room’ of the Keidan Family Commons for Jewish Life.
- David Keidan arrives in the new Keidan Family Commons for Jewish Life.
